The North Devon coast is known for its dramatic cliffs, wild seas and sandy beaches, the main three being Woolacombe (also Putsborough), Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay. Natural features range from biodiverse sand dunes at Braunton Burrows to rocky coves along the South West Coast Path, which spans the coastline.

Interspersed between the well known surfing beaches are some truly beautiful gems worth a visit.
With 3.5 miles of glorious sand, Saunton Sands is one of the best beaches in North Devon for surfing, dog walking and families. At the far end is Crow Point and behind the beach is one of the largest sand dune systems in the British Isles Braunton Burrows.
Croyde, North Devon, England, is a magical location with superb sandy beaches and spectacular scenery. Ideal for surfing and families. Plus, you can enjoy a walk on the coastal path between Croyde and Putsborough passing Baggy Point.
