New Flexible Cancellation Terms for 2021

Cancellation due to COVID  restrictions.

In these uncertain times, it is reassuring to know that if you are unable to travel because of a national or regional lockdown, that Enfield House will guarantee you will get a full refund.

The refund guarantee covers national and local lockdowns, but does NOT cover you (or members of your party) for being unable to travel because you (or a member of your party) fall ill with Covid, or are required to quarantine or self-isolate.  These events can be covered by you taking out travel insurance.  There are a number of policies that include cover for illness with Covid and self-isolation (example links below) or you can look for suitable cover on comparison sites such as www.gocompare.com..A list of some insurance providers are listed at the bottom of this page.

BOOKING DEPOSIT – a 25% deposit is necessary to secure your booking. The balance is due 30 days before arrival. If you book less than 4 weeks prior to arrival, the full balance will be due upon booking.

ARRIVAL – from 4pm (during Covid 19 times, extra time is required for cleaning).

DEPARTURE – please vacate the property by 10am.

CLEANING – the property is equipped with cleaning materials and we ask you to leave the property as you found it, otherwise a cleaning charge maybe deducted from your security deposit.

SECURITY DEPOSIT – a £200 security deposit is reserved on each booking.

LINEN AND TOWELS – are included. All beds have duvets and are made up for you. Dressing gowns are also provided

DOGS – well behaved (and not so well behaved) dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £25.00 per week per dog (max 3). We ask that you clear up after your dog and that they are not left alone in the property at any time or allowed on beds or furniture. See dogs page for more details

BREAKAGES – damage and spills/stains must be reported immediately and will be charged for.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE – additional insurance is advised. Please note if you choose to cancel your holiday deposits and payments are non refundable unless we manage to rebook the dates of your stay. We can allocate any payments to another date (within 12 months of the original date).

SMOKING – smoking is not allowed inside. If smoking is suspected to have taken place, we reserve the right to retain the deposit to cover additional cleaning costs. The same rules apply to the use of vapes and e-cigarettes.

HEATING– there is a wood burner in the main lounge (a basket of logs is provided for 2-3 fires, thereafter you will have to purchase your own), along with heating in the living room, kitchen, upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.

PROPERTY USE – You agree to use the Property solely for its intended purpose as self-catering accommodation and to accept the Owner’s right to refuse to hand over the Property to any person deemed unsuitable to take charge. Causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbours, unreasonable behaviour or disruption may result in the Owner requesting you to leave

PROPERTY ACCESS – You agree to allow the Owners or agents access to the Property at all reasonable times. We will only ever request access to the property in case of an emergency, e.g. a water leak
