New Times – New Cancellation Policy

The terms and conditions below still apply with the exception of the need for you to cancel your holiday at Enfield House due to UK government policy regarding  Covid-19. Please note this amendment is for all new bookings placed from 9th June 2020 onwards. Any deposits and full payments will be refunded if the UK Government enforce a lockdown on travel to the property or staying at self-catering properties.

BOOKING DEPOSIT – a 25% non-refundable deposit is necessary to secure your booking. The balance is due 30 days before arrival. If you book less than 4 weeks prior to arrival, the full balance will be due upon booking.

ARRIVAL – from 3pm.

DEPARTURE – please vacate the property by 10am.

CLEANING – the property is equipped with cleaning materials and we ask you to leave the property as you found it, otherwise a cleaning charge maybe deducted from your security deposit.

SECURITY DEPOSIT – a £100 refundable security deposit is charged on each booking.

LINEN AND TOWELS – are included. All beds have duvets and are made up for you. Dressing gowns are also provided

DOGS – well behaved (and not so well behaved) dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £20.00 per week per dog (max 2). We ask that you clear up after your dog and that they are not left alone in the property at any time or allowed on beds or furniture. See dogs page for more details

BREAKAGES – damage and spills/stains must be reported immediately and will be charged for.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE – insurance is advised as cancellation or curtailment of the holiday is non-refundable unless the property is re-let. Should the Property, subsequent to booking, become unavailable through any cause, you must accept that the Owner’s liability is limited to the amount of any rent paid.

SMOKING – smoking is not allowed inside. If smoking is suspected to have taken place, we reserve the right to retain the deposit to cover additional cleaning costs. The same rules apply to the use of vapes and e-cigarettes.

HEATING – there is a wood burner in the main lounge (a basket of logs is provided for 2-3 fires, thereafter you will have to purchase your own), along with heating in the living room, kitchen, upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.

PROPERTY USE – You agree to use the Property solely for its intended purpose as self-catering accommodation and to accept the Owner’s right to refuse to hand over the Property to any person deemed unsuitable to take charge. Causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbours, unreasonable behaviour or disruption may result in the Owner requesting you to leave

PROPERTY ACCESS – You agree to allow the Owners or agents access to the Property at all reasonable times. We will only ever request access to the property in case of an emergency, e.g. a water leak
