History of Enfield House

13th Century Stone & Cob Cottage

The village of Knowstone early records date back to the Doomsday Book 1086.....

The village is on ``The Two Moors Way`` and has far reaching views over Exmoor...........

    • Up to 2 well behaved dogs and evan the not so well behaved ones are welcome too (we have one of these); they are charged at £20 per dog per booking.
    • We provide dog beds and bedding, water / food bowls and treats on arrival.
    • Towels to clean and dry them off.
    • Dogs are not allowed in bedrooms nor on beds.
    • Dogs should not be left alone inside the property at any time nor outside.

  • We provide dog blankets to be used on the sofas.
  • Dogs should be on leads at all times outside of the property (excluding the garden). There are working farms next to Enfield House and sheep and cattle are moved frequently. Cattle are also allowed to wildly roam on Knowstone Moor so please be careful.
  • Please clear up after your dog. Dog bags are provided and please put these into the grey wheelie bin to the front of the property.
